Our second child is special and it’s a very good thing
When Percy arrived, our family realized how much we needed him. Born with multiple birth defects, including Down syndrome, Percy had a long road to normal health. Six years later, Percy is full of energy. His brother Julian says he’s the heart of our family.
Percy has developmental delays. And yet, he surprises us daily with his growing vocabulary, his sharp memory, and his cleverness. Even better, Percy hasn’t outgrown giving long hugs.
